A typical baby girl's nursery might be awash in pink frills, but Bent Van Looy wanted his daughter's room to be visually distinctive and personal.  That’s why he contrasted one lovely pale shade of pink with bold wallpaper. The dark blue tone was also used to paint the vintage wooden baby crib, perfectly complementing the room. Don't forget to mix it up unexpected fabrics and objects.

WALL: Antwerp sunset

'This is the colour of a beautiful sunny evening best enjoyed strolling through Antwerp along the River Scheldt while you gaze at Linkeroever.'
BENT VAN LOOY

WALLPAPER: Ripped day

'To evoke a magical horizon, I tore up colourful fragments of paper arranging them as I went along. The design is reminiscent of the sea, but also refers to English liquorice and Abstract Expressionism.'

CRIB: DOLPHIN BLUES

'In my childhood memories, dolphins were a deep blue. In real life, however, they aren’t but the floor tiles in the marine aquarium in the Antwerp Zoo were.'
